Experience the beauty and wonders of the exquisite Yves Saint Laurent Majorelle Gardens, the perfect stepping stone to zen.

A trip to Morocco wouldn’t be complete without stepping onto the arid beauty of the Agafay Hills, anciently named the “Désert Marrakech”. 

Here we’ll practice yoga looking out onto the dramatic landscape of this vast Moroccan wilderness, before gathering for a sunset dinner under the stars at the exquisite oasis of La Pause Marrakech.

THE YOGA – Morocco Yoga Retreat March 2018

Our daily yoga classes with Good Yoga Life teachers Kelly and Emily will take place in the morning and early evening. We’ll start our day with an energising vinyasa class, moving in time with the breath, and strengthening and stretching every part of the body. The perfect start to the day!

The evening sessions will be a mixture of workshops and rejuvenating restorative practices, where you’ll get the opportunity to increase your understanding of yoga postures and get deeper into the practice, and more calming and grounding practices to wind down from the day. You’ll float out of these sessions feeling inspired, relaxed and renewed.

Also enjoy mindfulness meditation sessions and empowerment ‘mindset’ workshops to help instil purpose, vision and balance into your life. You’ll also have the chance to get playful and push your limits in our optional progressive yoga-asana workshops.

Expect to head home at the end of the retreat with a greater understanding of yoga, meditation and breathing techniques that will help you to keep your yoga glow and zen vibe flowing.

THE MOROCCAN FOOD EXPERIENCE

Enjoy exceptional home made Moroccan meals carefully prepared by our cook with daily freshly and locally sourced seasonal produce and ingredients. Our hosts are renowned for their delicious food and hospitality, so you can rest assured you will be well fed.

The generous Moroccan breakfasts will be served straight after morning yoga, after you’ve worked up an appetite on your mat. It includes a feast of seasonal fruit salads, yoghurts, freshly-baked homemade Moroccan ‘Msemen’, crepes, eggs, omelettes and frittatas, served with freshly squeezed orange juice, Moroccan mint tea and coffee.

A light lunch of Moroccan salads, gazpacho or healthy vegetable soup will be served early afternoon, along with snacks of fruits and nuts available throughout the day.

Enjoy home-made vegetarian Tajines, Hariri soup, vegetable gratins and Moroccan salads followed by Moroccan desserts, created by our in-house chef using only the best local and seasonal ingredients.

Vegan and gluten free is catered for.

Explore the extensive Andalusian Alhambra-style gardens of bougainvilliers, fragrant roses, olive, palm and orange trees. Get ready for spending your days relaxing and recharging in beautiful surroundings.

The stunning villas boast a luxurious, rustic set up and are part of a small collection of a gated and secure complex of luxurious villas and lush gardens and feature a pool house, large swimming pool and tennis court.

The extensive grounds offer many spots to practice yoga, hang out and escape the sun.

Cool down in the large pool and lounge under a shaded loggia, under a palm tree or in the villa’s unique traditional Moroccan alcove-style living room known as a b’hoy that opens onto the gardens through chic French doors.

Every room has been carefully thought through to create harmonious and serene spaces with meticulous attention to balance modern touches with traditional furniture showcasing the best of Moroccan handicraft.

Both villas feature beautifully designed rooms, all unique, with their own ensuite bathroom and individually-controlled heating and air conditioning.

Prices are based on sharing a room either in a double bed (come with your partner or bestie!), or sharing a twin or triple occupancy room (make a new friend with your roomie!).

In our experience of running yoga retreats, sharing with a fellow yogi is a great way to make a new friend and feel the warmth and support of the small yoga family we will be creating 🙂

2. Click on GET TICKETS and select either 1 Person in a KINGSIZE bed (double occupancy) or 1 Person in a single bed (twin or triple occupancy). Each guest must make their own booking via Billetto so we that have your details.

3. Please email kelly@goodyogalife.com to confirm your selection.

4. Pay 40% non-refundable deposit or the full amount within 12 hours of bookings.

5. Pay the remaining 60% balance by 1st February 2018.

We want to make our yoga retreats accessible to as many people as possible and are open to setting up a payment plan in certain situations.
